Demand for an Apology from Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood for their teaching that denigrates women.
At a time in our church history that the main focus should be on winning lost souls and spreading the gospel to a hurting world, we fear for the future because the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood has placed a greater priority on women’s submissive role rather than on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Equality - when?
Male headship means that all males have authority over all females all the time. It is commonly referred to as leadership, because even the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood realizes how ridiculous male headship sounds.
Those who wonder why anyone would bring up the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood because it is old, need to be reminded that it is still the force behind the complementarian teaching today because many are still learning at the feet of those who crafted it.
